Guided Meditations with Adyashanti

Many people think that it is the function of a spiritual teaching to provide answers to life’s biggest questions, but actually the opposite is true. The primary task of any good spiritual teaching is not to answer your questions, but to question your answers. For it is your conscious and unconscious assumptions and beliefs that distort your perception and cause you to see separation and division where there is actually only unity and completeness.” ~ Adyashanti

human love

Love God’s and human

Human love does not shine, but blinds, for it is full of attachments.
It does not warm, but only burns, for it is based on passion.
It is the love of the body for the body, the mind for the mind, character for character, personality for personality.
It does not know God, it has little happiness and much suffering.

presence

Being Present

We therefore believe that life is a set of events that occur with our body and mind. And this is the main source of human suffering, because we can not control the outside world and become completely dependent on it. But it’s like watching a movie: I disappear in the experiences and events of the characters, but when the film ends I realize that it was all unreal, and was happening inside my Self, which was aware and perceived by these pictures. It is within our Self, in the field of awareness, that there is a real life, and not in a world of objects that change and move, capturing our attention and creating the illusion of life.

Hridaya Meditation

It is the Self Inquiry meditation technique based on Romana Maharshi approach and enriched with extra tools by Sahajananda – the founder of Hridaya Yoga.

Yuga satya

Yuga Cyrcles – the human history

AThe Yuga Cycle doctrine tells us that we are now living in the Kali Yuga; the age of darkness, when moral virtue and mental capabilities reach their lowest point in the cycle. The Indian epic The Mahabharata describes the Kali Yuga as the period when the “World Soul” is Black in hue; only one quarter of virtue remains, which slowly dwindles to zero at the end of the Kali Yuga. Men turn to wickedness; disease, lethargy, anger, natural calamities, anguish and fear of scarcity dominate. Penance, sacrifices and religious observances fall into disuse. All creatures degenerate. Change passes over all things, without exception.

human autimatism

Human automatism

Western society is built upon machines. You live with them and even within them. And among them, too. Don’t tell me that your environment doesn’t influence your mind. It surely does. We Tibetans are not very tender. It is because our mountains never have been. To live in Tibet, one must be as strong as a yak. Mountains are peaceful, though. You cannot fight with mountains as you do with the jungle. If you run too fast along a mountain path, you may fall down from a rock and die. That was why we have never been too aggressive: just strong, hardworking, a bit retired people. It was mountains that formed our national character.
